Determined to make a difference, Brandy pursued a career in mental health counseling. She is licensed and serves clients in both Tennessee and California. Her private practice, Krueg Therapy Services in Elk Grove, California, serves first responders, healthcare professionals, executives, and other professionals working in high-stress environments who seek support through trauma, life transitions, and relational challenges. As an LCSW, CCISM, she also partners with law enforcement agencies, offering peer support, critical incident education, and crisis-focused therapy. Brandy's approach is characterized by compassion, authenticity, and a commitment to empowering her clients.

Advocacy and Impact

Brandy’s work extends far beyond private counseling sessions. As an in-house therapist for the Stockton Police Department, she works directly with first responders facing trauma exposure, burnout, addiction, marital strain, and critical incident stress. In her private practice, she also supports healthcare professionals, executives, and others navigating addiction, imposter syndrome, life transitions, and the pressures that often accompany high-stress careers.

Her commitment to service reaches beyond the counseling office. As a Red Cross emergency responder, Brandy deploys to disaster-affected areas to support responders, survivors, and communities during times of crisis. She views volunteer service as a fundamental part of giving back and strengthening the people and communities she serves.

Her memoir, Turning Pain Into Purpose, carries that same commitment into writing. The book addresses subjects many people avoid discussing openly, including childhood abuse, family instability, grief, mental illness, and survival after prolonged trauma. Through public speaking, counseling, and direct community engagement, Brandy continues creating spaces where difficult conversations can happen honestly and without shame.
